we too are about to lose our home and everything that goes with it.. we will have no-where to live and will still owe thousands of pounds when the house is repossessed. My husband is self employed which means he has had no work and cannot claim any benefits. Iwork 30 hours a week for the NHS, but have had to have variuos operations and time off work... This country is the worst for taking care of the "hard up"...

I am a 49 year old single mother of two, well here's my story two years ago when the housing market was and is still is in a mess God seem fit for me to purchase my home at the time I was bring in enough income to live a good life although I work two full time jobs. In February this year I lose one of my jobs so I refinance my loan. Well that didn't help because (not knowing about the homeowners program just thinking it was for people in foreclosure) because I still wasn't bring in enough money to pay my mortgage and other bills like car note and household expenses. So I tried the Obama housing program just to find out that I am not quilfied for any of them because I not 3 months behind I can see that coming real soon. So I wrote my State governor and the President to find out why the programs was one sided and Is no help out their for people that really not into foreclosure yet. I am only one month behind but their programs want you to be 3 months behind before you might get some help and the programs are a lottery . Now the question is suppose you do get three months behind and you don't get the lottery you stilling up losing your home and it another house on the market for foreclosure why don't the bank just work with the people they got help with my tax dollars when they needed help

I am a 100% disabled veteran.  I am very close to losing my home due to a con man that entered my life.  He ended up getting me over $100,000 EXTRA in debt.  I have always peid all of my bills on time and do not want to change that now.  I really do not want to lose my home either, but everytime that I try to refinance with a VA loan, they all want 3 compairables.  You are not going to get that here in this small town.  There has just got to be a way to excuse the debt that my ex got me into so that my son and I can go on living like we used to.  We have no Birthdays or Christmas anymore and he has had to wear the same school clothes for 2 years.  If I see something on sale for $4 I will buy it for him.  I have had to live on my credit cards now for 3 months.  Now, the one I was using, is maxed.  I just want things to be like they used to be.  One house payment, land payment, truck payment and that is it!!!  That is all that I had before I met Jay.  He conned everybody in this town, but I was the one who really got taken and there is no way to get my money back.  I have tried everything that I can think of and have even lowered my standards down to begging rich people.  Never did get a response!!  If I could just get my finances back to where they were before I meet Jay, I would be so happy.  I have enough to worry about with my disabilities and my son.

I am about 15 days away from losing my home.  My husband and I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy 4 1/2 years ago, we are almost to the end and we are short in our account.  They want to default and dismiss the case.  i need any help I can get.  My lawyers advice was to pray.  I do pray everyday.  lI am looking for legitimate advice and help.

Hello I am a single mom trying to raise the money to save my home. I have a two year old and need any help I can get I don't want to loose my home but due to dropping housing prices I can no longer sell my house if I don't get help forclosure is looming. I am a good person and I always help others but hardly ever get that back! I am barely hanging on with mortage, gas, credit card bills, daycare, hoa etc. If you can help I really appriciate anything. I have been doing everything I can to make extra money. Babysitting, selling stuff on craigslist anything I can think of.

I am a single mother of three children. In April I found out that I needed surgery to remove my uterus because sists keep developing. When I informed my boss on the 12th he fired me on the 16th. I was told that even though I put in over 1250 hours since I was only employed for 10 months that it was not pursueable in court. They offered no form of severence pay and did not pay me for hours due to me. After that I had to have surgury to remove my uterus. Due to the pain medications I had complications. I have sinced healed from the surgery to find no job. I have been looking for months to find a new job and for whatever reason I have not yet found one. I have since been selling all of our family items so that we have a home to live in. A couple of weeks ago on our way home from the doctors office my only vehicle broke down and they said that the engine is blown so I would have to replace the engine. We have been stuck at home for weeks now with no way to get to any store to buy groceries or to get my son's medicine. My son suffers from extreme ADHD and a sleeping disorder to which he has to take medicine for his symptoms. We are now out of medicine with no way to get to the pharmacy. Throughout this time, my son's father has been hospitalized for his liver shutting down, and we have no way to get my son to the hospital to see his father.

I have prayed everyday for something to go our way. But everyday something else happens. I need help severely all of our utilities are about to be shut off and I fear that we are going to lose our home. I usually do not like to ask anyone for help but I have no where else to turn,  we need help.

I am about to lose my house to foreclosure.

Not quite sure what to do.  I am in arrears about $9,000.00 (with lawyers fees).

Everywhere I turn, there is no help...its quite complicated: My father is on the deed to the house with me, but I have recently had to put him in a nursing home due to dementia. My husband is not on the deed, and he has been disabled for 2 years, so now I am the only one with true "income". I work full time and my husband receives only a small amount monthly for him and my son. And with my father out of the house, I have that much less income.

I have been in this house for 34 years. (on and off...) We moved here on my 7th birthday.  My mother made this house our home and passed away here.

I personally suffer from depression and anxiety, and this has made it so much worse. 

I am reaching out to anyone who has any knowledge of what to do....Im at wits end. County agencies will not help because there is no guarantee that I could keep current with the mortgage due to the fact that my husband is still diabled. (diabetic with foot ulcers- has had 3 toes removed)
